My4, Inc. is a fintech company whose value-screening tools and my4 score ESG ratings let anyone invest by their values. Retail investors had no practical way to see whether their holdings matched their values.
The product needed a curated database from several financial-data providers, portfolio-management features, and a way to rate thousands of companies on environmental, social and governance factors from unstructured news.
