Wound care documentation and specialty clinic software

Specialty clinics need tools a general EHR does not have. For Gentell's wound care team we built FastCare, which measures a wound in 3D with a phone and writes the clinical note from the conversation. For a multi-branch dermatology group we built one clinic system for every branch, live ten days after kickoff.

The Problem

What gets in the way

Wounds are measured with a ruler

Two clinicians measuring the same wound record different numbers, so it is hard to tell whether it is healing.

The note is written after the patient leaves

Clinicians type findings and care plans at the end of the day, and detail gets lost between the visit and the chart.

Specialty steps do not fit a general EHR

Wound stages, photos, product choices and specialty procedures end up in free text or on paper.

Every branch runs its own tools

Appointments, records and billing differ by location, so the group has no single view of its clinics.

What We Build

What we build and run for you

  • 3D wound measurement on a phone

The phone's depth sensor measures length, width, depth and area, so every clinician records the same wound the same way.

  • A scribe that listens to the visit

The conversation between clinician and patient becomes a structured note with findings, assessment and care plan.

  • Answers from your own guidance

Clinicians ask questions and get answers drawn from your organization's own clinical guide, not from the open internet.

  • Healing tracked over time

Each measurement is saved with the date and image, so progress between visits is visible at a glance.

  • One system for every branch

Appointments, patient records, billing and reporting shared across locations, with a combined view for management.

  • Fits the EHR you keep

Structured notes and measurements are ready to send into your existing EHR.

AI Engineering

AI at the bedside, with the clinician in charge

Computer vision and the phone's depth sensor measure the wound, a real-time voice model turns the visit into a structured note, and an assistant answers questions from the organization's own wound care guide. The clinician reviews everything before it reaches the chart.

About our AI engineering

How It Works

From first call to running every day

  1. 1

    Shadow a clinic day

We watch how clinicians assess, document and hand over, and where time goes.

  2. 2

    Ship one workflow first

Measurement or documentation goes live first, in short releases your clinicians can try.

  3. 3

    Connect to your systems

Notes and measurements flow into the EHR and reports you already use.

  4. 4

    Run and extend it

We support it in production and add pharmacy, inventory or patient apps on the same base.

Wound care and specialty clinics: common questions

FastCare uses the depth (LiDAR) sensor on recent iPhones and iPads to measure in three dimensions.

It turns the conversation into a structured note for the clinician to review. What is kept, and for how long, is set with you to match your policies.

Yes. Wound care and dermatology are where we have shipped. The same pieces of measurement, structured notes and multi-branch operations apply to other specialty clinics, and we scope each one with you.

The dermatology group's system was live ten days after kickoff. Larger scopes are released in stages that we agree with you up front.

The system runs in your own cloud account under a Business Associate Agreement, with encryption, role-based access and audit logs.
