The problem
Andhra Pradesh set up five Project Monitoring Units for its critical infrastructure: airports, ports and fishing harbours; transport and logistics; buildings and construction; irrigation and water supply, including the Jal Jeevan Mission; and housing, land records and e-crop.
Each unit tracked its projects in its own format. State-level authorities needed one project tracking dashboard to compare progress, risks and milestones across sectors, and to prepare for review meetings without stitching reports together by hand.
