Identity and Membership Validation Platform

ValidateMe runs a network of member organisations that need to know they can trust the people they do business with. Each member could only check a person against its own records, so someone flagged at one company could walk into another. Members could not pool their customer data, because that data is private. And every check had to hold up later: who was checked, against what, and what the answer was, with no way to change the record after the fact.

BeyondScale built the verification network behind ValidateMe across several projects from 2022 to 2024. A member looks a person up by their ValidateMe ID or by scanning a QR code, and the system works through the checks in order: are the required documents in, does the selfie match the photo on the driving licence, does the person pass this member's own rules, and what do other members and partners know about them.

The answer comes back as a trust score and a confidence score, calculated across the whole network without any member seeing another member's raw data. Every decision is written to a ledger that cannot be edited afterwards, and checks that need sign-off run through multi-step approvals. New members connect to a practice environment first, so they can test their setup before going live.
